The owners who are parents themselves, each with 3 children, realised that there was a lack of high quality childcare and education in the centre of the city and invested a lot of money in completely rebuilding and equipping what had been dilapidated warehouses in the old Sneinton fruit and vegetable market.This colourful oasis in the city centre became "Pretty Windows Day Nursery" which provides childcare and education of the highest quality for the benefit of those families who live and/or work in Nottingham.
The motto of Pretty Windows is "A Care-free Day the Pretty Windows Way" and this catch-phrase encapsulates what we are all about. Parents can be free of care because they know their children are safe, secure, happy and well looked after and children can play and learn at the Pretty Windows centres without a care in the world.

Services
Pretty Windows Day Nursery is situated in the historic City Of Nottingham at the bottom of the old Lace Market and opposite the modern Nottingham Arena.
The nursery can accommodate a maximum of 75 children at any one time.
Due to our staffing levels and the fact our nursery contains large, airy rooms, we still achieve a great sense of intimacy with the children we care for.

Based in the newly refurbished Sneinton Market in the heart of Nottingham City Centre's Creative Quarter, Pretty Windows has been open since 1997.
We take children from the age of six weeks until they start school and also operate Breakfast Club, After-School Club and Holiday Club for children up to the age of fourteen.
Our site is very secure, with access through a locked gate onto our superb all-weather play area and inner-city garden.
On each side of the nursery we have a reception area with coat pegs and storage and children's toilet facilities.
We take children from the age of six weeks until they start school and also operate Breakfast Club, After-School Club and Holiday Club for children up to the age of fourteen.

We offer breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea each day and snacks in-between, all freshly prepared on-site in our nursery kitchen by our own staff.
Meals are served in the ground floor rooms in age-appropriate groups.
The children sit around large tables together and are encouraged to use cutlery and help themselves where ever possible.
We encourage our children to try a real variety of different foods from many cultures and countries.
Melon and grapes; bananas and raisins; rice cakes; humous and crudits - we always like to offer a wide variety of snacks over the course of a week so that the children can experience many different types of food.
Meals are served in the ground floor rooms in age-appropriate groups.
The children sit around large tables together and are encouraged to use cutlery and help themselves where ever possible.

Our staff are mainly qualified to Level Three or above.
Our team is chosen not only based on their professional qualifications but also for their enthusiasm, passion and warm, generous personalities.

Nappies, wipes and formula included.
The price difference between Under Threes and Over Threes is due to the provision of nappies, wipes and formula for Under Threes.
Please note that there will be a minimum 20.00 fee for any late collections which have not been previously arranged, and this fee will increase by 20.00 for every 15 minutes if this is after 6.30 pm.
If you need to book any extra time this will be charged at the rate of 10.00 per hour or 5.00 per half-hour.
