We are also unlike any other company in the area as we are available to carry out double glazing repair work on your premises at your convenience. While double glazing requires very little maintenance it is a myth that once installed no further action is needed.
Like all moving parts the hinges, internal mechanisms, handles and locks need to be looked after to achieve a much greater working life.
Poorly fitted windows and doors will become worse and worse over time.
Regular maintenance will most definately increase lifespan and efficiency of your purchase.

Change older float glass units to newer more energy efficient Planitherm or Pilkington "K" glass units or even Argon gas filled units.
Panel glass has failed or been broken - this requires a complete new panel as glass units in panels are moulded into the panel when made and these cannot be changed seperately.
Condensated, failed, broken, damaged glass units leak valuable heat energy and cost you money, even before you see the signs of condensation the breakdown in the seal starts costing you money, with energy prices constantly rising it makes sense to make sure your double glazing is working efficiently.

Window hardware is one of the most common failures, most hardware lasts well although some can only last for a few years before they start to become worn.
Worn hardware inevitably fails/breaks causing you to have windows that either don't open or don't lock properly, there are also often cases of these failures due to a window not operating properly e.g.
Sometimes a failed or broken hinge may be the issue leaving a gap between sash/vent and frame when closed, this causes a draft and more outside noise being heard even when the window is closed, this can also lead to the failure of the lock.

After a break in our patio doors didn't work, other repair companies came out and said we would need a whole new patio door fitted, but Not Just Windows were able to fix them and add extra security locks, we would recommend them to anyone needing repairs.
We were having problems with locking our front and back doors, Cliff arrived at 6;30 pm and fixed both doors very quickly and our doors now work perfectly!
