We offer the complete sliding sash window service across Hampshire, Surrey and surrounding areas, undertaking window repairs, refurbishment for timber windows including the supply and fitting of replacement sash windows. Draught-proofing is often provided at the same time as our Full Refurbishment Service as it enables us to improve the energy efficiency of your windows by installing modern materials.
As the set of four cords are installed at the same time, when a failure occurs in one, there is a risk that others will also fail. Many original pulleys were of a simple, forged design and over years of use the spindle wears to an oval shape resulting in noisy and often uneven operation. Without obligation Survey. Our client kindly sent us a copy of the Estate Agent's brochure to allow us to prepare the paperwork for our survey and also understand how long the survey may take - 51 windows - hmmm better leave several hours for two of us!
The enquiry simply said "Hi, I have a grade 2* building, with curved sash windows that need taking out of their casements, stripping down, casements needs service and then putting back."

Initially I considered their quote just a tad on the high side, when compared to others but given they are literally down the road, I really thought we should support the local community.
