Crofton is a family business that was originally established in 1979.
David and Valerie Nahid had their first site at the rear of Hammonds Garden Centre, they then moved to Stubbington Lane in 1987.
They retired from the business in 1997 and their Son Steve took the reins.
In 2014 He purchased our brand new Fareham site in the heart of West Street.
We have specialised in offering our clients the complete package.
Not only can we design any style of conservatory or orangery in PVCu and hardwood using the latest computer design software; we can also offer flooring, furniture and fittings to compliment the installation.

The Victorian conservatory can be made with three sections, five sections and stretched (like the picture) These are the traditional conservatory we tend to associate with the Victorian era.
Pretty and creating interesting shapes in the garden, they can often add an elegant style to many gardens.
These are of course available in a choice of PVCu, Hardwood and aluminium with either polycarbornate or more often nowadays our super efficient Smart Glass.
Just like the Victorian, the Edwardian has the same high pitched roof, but is square or rectangular in shape.

There are two main types of Orangery, the conservatory style orangery.
Ultraframes Livin Room is a good example of this.
Ultraframe take a normal conservatory and they insert a skirt around the eaves and an external cornice around the outside.
The other option is the full Crofton Orangery.
This is our most popular product, we utilise a fully structural engineer designed timber roof which has a Firestone EPDM (single ply rubber) deck.
This has our smart glass roof lantern placed on top.
