Established in 1989 The Surrey Glasshouse has been trading for over 25 years. We are a small family run glass and glazing company with extensive experience in both traditional and modern glazing. We have been involved with many specialist projects on listed buildings replacing and repairing traditional lead lights and single glazed windows using skills and experience that these days are not often used by larger glazing companies who typically only work with Double Glazed UPVC and aluminium frames.
We also provide a full modern glazing and repair service proving replacement double glazed units, Balustrades, shelves, shower screens and table tops etc. From our workshop in New Haw, Addlestone we cover Virginia Water, Cobham, Guildford, Woking and Weybridge and surrounding areas.

The majority of houses now have UPVC windows and the frames will last many years, but moving parts such as hinges, locks and mechanisms can fail.
We can repair/replace the failed components without the need to replace the whole window.
Double glazed sealed units typically break down over time losing their insulating ability as well as giving a dirty / moisture obscured view.
The rubber gaskets around the sashes can also deteriorate allowing air to draft through; replacement will rectify restoring your clear view and insulated windows.

We have clear and obscured stock should you need us to supply/install a new pane for a door/window or make you a round table top with polished edges.
A range of thicknesses are available to suit different applications as well as further processing such as toughening and back painting.
We also stock/supply/install mirrors made to measure from a replacement piece of glass for a broken wall mirror to mirroring an entire gymnasium wall.
