Core Sash Windows offer a professional, yet relaxed and friendly service. All our surveyors and sales representatives have years of experience in the double glazing industry and many of them have worked as fitters of double glazed sash windows and doors in the past so have real, hands-on experience with the product. They've designed our sash windows from scratch and gone on to successfully market those same sash windows throughout all the boroughs of London.

We have over a 10 year history in the window industry and in this time have installed casements, doors and sash windows in London and providing a first class fitting service, including in conservation areas and listed buildings. We choose not to work with UPVC sash windows and focus fully on our timber sash windows range in order to ensure that our workforce and our surveyors are totally in tune with our product, our service and our ethos.

Like our traditional casement windows and doors, our sash windows are a unique product, designed specifically to look like traditional sash windows without forcing you to compromise on the warmth of your home by ensuring that the benefits of double glazing are retained.
Services
We're all about keeping things friendly and simple but professional throughout our process; so on the site survey we won't bore you with endless powerpoint presentations or bamboozle you with on-the-spot discounts, we'll just measure up and then get out of your hair.
We won't chase you constantly to get you to agree to our prices and we won't present you with a quote for half the work - our fully comprehensive fitting service is designed to cover every aspect of window or door installation, meaning you won't need to get any other trades in to support our work.
Sash windows have always been an extremely popular part of the London home.
From the Georgian and Victorian eras up until today, they remain an essential design feature and are often a mandated replacement due to the presence of conservation areas and listed buildings.
It's also the preference of many homeowners to replace their windows with timber sash windows given the aesthetic appeal of the product.
Sash windows also have a traditional, authentic feel that plastic or aluminium products can't quite match - possibly one of the main reasons for their enduring popularity.
Casement windows are the most popular choice of window in the United Kingdom and around Europe.
Essentially a casement is any window that operates on hinges.
The window is hinged at the top right side of the vertically hung sash, so that it opens outward or inward along its entire length in same way as a door.
Windows hinged at the top are referred to as awning windows, and ones hinged at the bottom are called hoppers.
Our casement aluminium and timber windows offer great levels of heat retention, draught proofing and sound reduction, and are available with double or triple glazing.
New windows can instantly improve the appearance of a room, house or extension but what is the uniqueness of an aluminium window?
Aluminium windows are resistant, modern and can be a long term investment for your home, so it's no surprise that they're one of the most popular types of windows installed in the UK.
There are also many different styles of aluminium windows from casement to sash, therefore you can be as flexible as you like when it comes to choosing the right design for your house.
Aluminium windows are often seen as large floor to ceiling fittings in a modern property which may make them look delicate but, in fact, aluminium is one of the strongest materials out there.
Shutters can really add a touch of elegance to your home and can be made to look great almost anywhere, particularly with sash windows or timber casement windows In addition, with such a wide range of options / colours available, there's something for everyone.
Shutters are a great addition to your home and some styles have been popular for hundreds of years.
Their practicality, functionality and alluring design has ensured that they have remained popular for a very long time.
If you live in a house that looks like it needs a new lease on life, new windows or shutters might be a good way to go about it.
