Historically it has not been easy to obtain planning to install double glazing in period buildings. We work closely with Planners, encouraging the use of Slimlite glass in Grade I and II Listed Buildings, Manor Estates, Stately Homes and Town houses in Conservation Areas and National Parks. We work with homeowners of buildings from a wide range of historical periods to meet the planning, conservation and preservation requirements for their area.
Slimlite glass is designed to look like a single pane of glass with a cavity of only 3 - 4mm and an overall depth of just 10-12mm. Cavity insulating gas with low emissivity glass provides high energy-efficiency and low heat loss - drastically reducing your heating bills and carbon footprint! All the wood we use in our carpentry is PEFC and FSC approved.
This means that we only source recyclable certified materials, such as Accoya, for your projects. I am so happy with your superb quality of work (don't know of any as good anywhere else!) and quick help and friendship!
