We can advise you on how to bring your glass up to safety specifications, with free estimates available, we can sort if all out for you. Blackburn Glaziers have many things to be proud of - one being our exceptional service centre, which contains particularly helpful and friendly customer advisors.

Our service centre is open for business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year*, because we understand that you may have a problem that doesn't fit into the usual 'nine-to-five'. However, if an emergency glass issue happens outside of daylight hours, then we may choose to board up the window for your security, and then replace the glass at a more convenient time (some glass will need to be ordered, and because of its construction, may take 3-5 working days to become available).
Services
With locally based engineers covering Blackburn and the surrounding areas, Glaziers Blackburn specialise in all types of glass services including double glazing repairs, glass replacement, window repair, window boarding and full glass installations.
When a problem occurs that requires an immediate response, we offer complete glass solutions including boarding and repairs throughout Blackburn 24/7*.
Highly skilled local glaziers are on standby with fully equipped vans containing all the necessary equipment to carry out any glazing service.
Our glaziers offer a complete double glazing service including a local double glazing installer, double glazing repairs and Blackburn replacement double glazing.
Double glazed units take approximately two to three working days to order, and all our units come with a manufacturer's guarantee.
If requested, we can replace the vacuum between the glass panes with a layer of argon gas, to further facilitate heat management.
We can also supply and install triple glazed units on request for Blackburn and the local area.
When a window is damaged, be it broken glass or the window frame, our professional local Blackburn glaziers are only a short distance away to fix the problem.
We can also modernise your existing frames with more efficient window styles including double glazing, aluminium replacement windows and 'low-e' glass.
For Blackburn shop front windows, we would use laminate glass, which conforms to BS 6206.
Large and/or thicker than normal panes will usually be a next day service, depending on the dimensions of the glass.
We offer a variety of safety glass services including toughened glass installations and replacements.
Toughened glass will usually shatter into small fragments instead of sharp shards when broken, making it less likely to cause severe injury and deep lacerations.
This is particularly useful for certain frames such as cat flaps, glass doors and tables.
Our Blackburn toughened glass normally takes three to five working days to order in for both single and double glazed options.
This glass is recommended for Blackburn residential customers, as the glass shatters into relatively harmless fragments upon impact, as opposed to the larger, more dangerous shards caused by breakage of normal glass.
If you have had an accident late at night, we won't be able to replace your glass immediately.
In this case, we will board up your window with plywood boards to maintain security, then arrange for the glass to be fitted once it is available.
We operate a 24 hour* rapid response Blackburn boarding up service, to give you peace of mind when you need it most.
We can also board up large Blackburn commercial premises when the owner has vacated the building, or is in the process of a large scale refurbishment, where the building needs to be protected against squatters and other intruders.
