Our Classic Shutter range - solid wood for the same price as MDF - there's just no comparison!. Wood grain finish. Ashwood was chosen for its strength, hardness, weight and shock resistance. It's stunning grain is enhanced by a choice of 28 water colours and 15 oil based finishes. Our polywood shutters were designed for bathrooms. Where MDF, wooden shutters failed against humidity developing defects such as warping and paint blowing.
They are tough, hard wearing and can withstand high humidity, moisture and direct water contact.
