Burgess Windows and Doors is a local, family-run company, based in Buckingham.
Paul Burgess started Burgess Building (Buckingham) Ltd back in 1998.
Drawing on three decades of experience in construction, Paul has built a successful business throughout Buckinghamshire.
Windows, doors and conservatories have always been an integral part of the services provided by Burgess, but in 2019 they became the focus of Burgess Windows and Doors.
Our friendly team are ready to answer your enquiries, and provide advice and guidance on the products best suited to your home and budget.
Casements - the beautifully simple, single latch design makes casement windows easy to open with just one hand.
The ease with which they swing open makes them the ideal choice for harder to reach locations, such as over the sink in the kitchen or bathroom.
Tilt and Turn - a sophisticated design incorporating 3 window functions.
The fixed window, the inward tilted window, and the casement style window.
The tilted window provides top ventilation, allowing warm air to escape efficiently, whilst the swing window provides inward air flow.
Sash windows first became popular in the Georgian period and they've never really gone out of fashion.
Sliding sash windows comprise two sashes, one in front of the other.
The separate panes slide up and down along a vertical groove in the frame.
This heritage design provides both an authentic-looking window feature, and a practical convection system all in one.
When both the bottom and the top are partially opened the window allows heat to escape naturally, and the cooler air to flow in.
Five chambers at the core of the design and two chambers either side of the reinforcement chamber, provide a superb thermal insulation performance.
A bay window stops even the tiniest room from feeling closed-in and cramped.
Wherever they appear, bay windows open up a new dimension, and the additional window space attracts more natural light into your home.
This popular window feature adds character to the outside of your home, and provides extra space inside.
A typical bay window projects 3 feet out from the wall, offering the potential for a window seat, storage, or a small breakfast dining area.
Five chambers at the core of the design and two chambers either side of the reinforcement chamber, provide a superb thermal insulation performance.
Flush casement windows lovingly echo the crafted timber joinery of an earlier age.
Their design originates in the early years of Victoria's reign and they're considered a hallmark of early Victorian architecture.
Our uPVC flush casement designs replicate with loving care the look and feel of traditional wooden windows.
The frames are mechanically-jointed, and reproduce the look of mortise and tenons.
These elegant windows look perfectly at home on period properties, and are accepted in conservation areas by local planning authorities.
