Services
Most modern vehicles have fixed vehicle glass (Directly Glazed) that is, windscreens, back and sometimes side glass that are 'glued' or bonded directly to the vehicle.
In order to retain all safety features and multi-functional roles played by glass and adhesives in modern vehicles, it is essential that trained, and time-served technicians carry out all installations.
Ensure your vehicle is being treated correctly by using an experienced and qualified installer to replace your automotive glass.
Windscreen chips can devalue your vehicle.
They can also impair your vision; fail an M.O.T. test and worse still, develop into irreparable damage.
A simple stone-chip can create an impact crater which will allow water to ingress between the glass and vinyl interlayer.
Exposed to the elements, the stonechip can eventually worsen beyond economic repair; this is either a result of damage to the vinyl interlayer (milky colour caused by contamination) or ultimately, a crack to the windscreen.
Windscreen chip repair works by injecting a clear resin into the damage, subsequently polishing the resin flush with the screen after a curing process.
