The Glass Studio has been carrying out the design, restoration and encapsulation (Laminating) of leaded light windows in Essex and London for over thirty years. We are passionate about leaded light's and this is reflected by our in-depth knowledge and understanding of the various design periods (Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco and Contemporary) and use only the correct glass for each period (it's not just about colour!)

Apart from designing and the restoration aspect of our business, we also carry out a highly specialist method of laminating existing leadlight glass in preparation to having double glazing installed.
We work alongside many of Essex and London's most reputable and long established double glazing companies, and when dealing with pre-existing leaded light windows, we are regarded as the "trade's choice" - and the finish of our work speaks for itself because all leaded panels go through a complete overhaul, re-cemented and re-polished prior to laminating as standard.
