It's cost-effective, efficient and provides a number of performance based benefits to homes and commercial buildings. It's most common use is for Listed Buildings and conservation areas.

Whether the problem you currently face is heat loss, draughts or too much noise from your existing windows, it is the best possible solution to make your home more comfortable and reduce your heating costs. Our expert installers will ensure that their many years of experience are used to fit the units effectively, correctly, quickly and with minimal disruption.

A pleasure to deal with a very friendly and knowledgeable man. Very refreshing to meet somebody who really understands the product he is selling and able to offer genuine advice. Many thanks for completing the secondary glazing to my front bedroom. The difference in sound reduction is better then I expected and the room is now a lot warmer too.
Services
We don't always take the easy route, we'll advise, design and install your secondary glazing as if it were in our own home.
Like the Knight on a chess board, we often take a non-linear approach to getting the job done.
But unlike the Knight piece, we don't take the route that benefits us the most.
Or makes us the most money.
Our approach to business is-and always will be-customer first.
Our work is a combination of the highest quality and affordability.
Having worked with our product since it was first designed over 35 years ago, our team understands the niggles and nuances of the design, manufacture and installation.
We'll ask you a few questions about your property and your existing windows.
If you have any photos, you can upload them to the enquiry form to help us tailor our recommendations to your home.
If we think we need to come and take a closer look-or if you'd like us to-we'll visit your property to get a better feel for the project.
We may be based in Chesterfield, but we'll travel the length and breadth of the country-from Berwick to Basingstoke.
The main purpose of this visit is to understand what you're trying to achieve by having secondary glazing installed in your home, to answer any questions you might have, and to then leave you to make a decision in your own space and time.
During the Victorian era properties were often built with internal secondary windows as part of the original structure.
This was usually another entire sash window with counterbalanced lead weights which were fitted behind the existing external window.
The purpose of these windows were to reduce heat loss as most external sash windows were very draughty.
In addition to the thermal benefits, they were also designed to add some protection against the ever increasing road noise.
Whereas secondary glazing is installing an entirely separate window behind the existing one, double glazing involves removing the existing window and replacing the whole thing with a new window.
We offer a comprehensive range of well-designed and reasonably priced windows which are cleverly designed for ease of fitting - as standard the windows include an aluminium frame combined with an integral timber frame to make it easy to fit to your existing window frame whatever the circumstances.
Fitting secondary glazing in your home should be seen as an investment, an investment that brings multiple benefits including savings on household bills, thermal insulation benefits, noise reduction and more.
Installing secondary glazing with our standard glass will completely eliminate any draughts and cold spots that you currently have with your existing windows.
Secondary glazing frames are made from long-lasting aluminium with integral timber subframes which are sealed to the existing structure to ensure that the thermal integrity is maintained.
The clever design of our secondary double glazing ensures that they remain unobtrusive and blend in as much as possible with your existing window - they are even available in a wide range of colours to exactly match your internal decor.
